In the end, cross platform games are going to be something we all have to live with. I just don't really like that the PC seems to be getting the short end of the stick needlessly. There are still companies out there who focus more on the PC rather than the console, but they are becoming more, and more rare. Even the much beloved Valve slipped up a bit initially with Portal 2. It was small but when even the darlings of the PC gaming world begin to slip, it is a worrying sign.

It's hard to believe how far things have gone already. Games that used to be out every year for the PC are no longer coming out. Games who have their roots in PC gaming are neglecting these roots to cater to the console gaming crowd. Entire studios have shifted focus away from the PC. I can't see this trend getting any better after the new generation of consoles come out, and that makes me very sad.
