Crysis Review

Introduction

This review will focus on the PC game release of the year (anticipation wise), Crysis. Long heralded as the reason to upgrade your PC, Crysis promised to totally change the way you think about gameplay while visually pleasing you with all it's glorious DX10/feature laden Crytek2 engine.

This is not the first review of Crysis. I have taken my sweet time to explore the many facets of the single player game, and the muliplayer game. There have been reports of Crysis getting as high as 98% scores. I was initially quite surprised at such a score. Half-Life 2 also garnered such scores and it was an amazing game, but also marred by over hype and silly over the top reviews like this. Is it possible Crysis lives up to such a score? Well, we'll just see about this.
