The MX400 is a lower end price point laser mouse from Logitech. You can find the MX400 for under $30CAD. It is a wired USB Laser mouse, which I perfer. Wireless isn't my thing. The pack is clear plastic in a standard Logitech mouse box. Simple and effective as expected.

Inside is a selection of manuals software disk and usb to PS2 adapter. The USB cable on the mouse is pleanty long as you can see.

Once out of the box we can see the mouse is made of uniform grey plastic along the top and also functions as the bottons. there is a rubber grip surrounding it separated by a reflective silver strip with a pair of navigation buttongs above where your thumb will rest. For all intents and purposes it's a right hand only mouse. The scroll wheel has intermittant stops for precision. It also has left and right movement functions.
